Strawberry & Almond Butter Oatmeal

½ cup steel cut oats
1 ½ cup water
Pinch of sea salt
2 tbsp. chia seeds
½ tsp. vanilla extract
½ tsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. almond butter
2-3 tbsp. water (optional)
½ cup strawberries, sliced
Directions
- Bring 1½ cups of water and salt to a boil and add the steel cut oats. Reduce heat to low; cover and cook for 20 minutes. Stir occasionally. Remove from heat.
- Once oats are ready, add chia, vanilla and cinnamon, stir to combine. Divide mixture into two serving bowls.
- In separate bowl, thin out the almond butter with 2-3 tablespoons of water. Top the oatmeal with strawberries and thinned out almond butter.
