A personal message from Dr. McKenzie:

I have my own set of health challenges.  My experiences have taught me a few things: I know what it’s like to be in pain –  all the time; I know what it’s like to live with something for years; I know what it’s like to be frustrated; I know what it’s like to be treated condescendingly and dismissively by the people you turn to for help.  In other words, I get what you are going through, even if I don’t have the condition(s) you have.  I get it.  I’m not going to judge you or dismiss your concerns.

I can’t promise to heal you.  No one can.  I can promise that if you are patient and committed, we can form a partnership based on mutual understanding and respect which can propel you towards improved health and a better quality of life.
